YORKSHIRE PUDDING

What is so special about Yorkshire Pudding? If you like eating Roast beef definitely you need to accompany the main course with Yorkshire pudding. At least thats what British people do. My opinion about Yorkshire pudding, it tastes like unsweetened bread and has spongy texture.

Our parents visited us last week, and one night we had dinner with roast beef. I think that was a good time for me to learn to make Yorkshire pudding. My mother’s in law Ilene gave me a delicious recipe. I call that recipe “Grandma Yorkshire pudding”

The ingredients are very simple; it is only required 3 things;

1 cup of milk
3 eggs
1 cup of flour
Pinch of salt (optional)

Put all ingredients in the blender, and blend it well at high speed. Then store the batter in refrigerator for a couple of hours.

Pour about 2 tablespoons of oil in each of muffin pan, heat it up in the oven for about 5 minutes on 400 F.
After 5 minutes just have to make sure the muffin pan is very hot and makes a sizzling sound. Take the muffin pan out of the oven then pour batter quickly about half of the muffin pan. Then allow them to bake about 25 minutes.

The secret to make Yorkshire pudding to become nice and puffy is you need to make the batter in the morning to let the batter get really cold. Then cook in very hot muffin pan.
