Mexican Snack “GUACAMOLE dip with tortilla chips”

guacamole dip

This is my first entry for My Kitchen My World” which this week theme is “Food from Mexico”.

I choose guacamole dip with tortilla chips that because it is very easy to make. And this kind of snacking just make us more comfortable while watching tv or seating in front of computer. As you may know, it is only take a minute away to make it.

The tomatoes and pepper are finally growing on my garden. To be honest, this is my first time gardening. We made a small garden bed on the back yard and plant basil, thyme, pepper, tomatoes, rosemary and lavender. I keep staying away from them as I don’t really like to see little creature crawling, you know that “worm”! But when I see tomatoes and pepper grow it brings smile on my face.

I don’t precisely measure how to make a dip. It is simply mash together the avocado, pepper, tomatoes, lime juice, salt, dices onion and ground cumin. Then refrigerate about 1 hour before serving.

Happy Snacking!

Hi Dwi,
Wow, good job say...
Guacamole is very popular dip indeed. I haven't met anybody who doesn't like it!
I love to hear more of your gardening story. Tomatoe and chile seem doing very well in your garden. Do you still "geli" sama cacing?

Tadinya gue paling gak suka berkebun, Dwi. Tapi sejak taneman stroberi, pepperoni (tadinya gue kirain cabe, eh gak taunya hasilnya gede2 banget), dan kencur gue berhasil "terselamatkan", gue jadi demen melihara tanaman deh :D.
