This time is CHICKEN with spicy Rica Rica sauce

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
Thai Basil, this kind of herb is pretty rare to find in my town. Sometime we can find them at Asian market in Cleveland but then we have to drive one and half hours from here. Thanks God, my friend Sinar from Seattle sent us some of this Thai Basil. I am so happy; it means I can cook Chicken with spicy sauce rica rica.

Couple weeks ago I cooked fish with spicy rica rica sauce, I didn’t make it with Thai Basil and this time my chicken is cooked with one of my favorite herb.
The cooking ingredient and direction you can find here. And Thai Basil has to be added at the last minute to keep it flavor.

Two different kinds of photos with different kind of plate are telling you that I cooked this food two times. You can tell how much I love this HERB! Gotta cook them before they go bad.
Thanks Tante Sinar

That's weird...
In the Peg, it's easy to find Thai basil, but it's hard to find Lemon basil a.k.a kemangi leaves. I found lemon basil this summer with a Laotian name "etu", then it disappeared again.

Klo di toko Asia sini lumayan gampang cari Thai Basil, cuman jenis basilnya macem2, klo yg kemangi disini dikemasan namanya: hairy basil, nah yg ini kadang cuman ada seminggu sekali. I have to try this...looks really spicy and delish! Nice shoots!

In NZ, we can find Thai Basil or Lemon Basil plant in the local supermarkets easily. Just go into the herbs section, grab it, go to the check out, and pay just $2 NZ something ( wakakakakka pake acara pengarahan segala heeee .

Andaliman: I think because there aren't many of immigrants in my town. In Cleveland about 1 1/2 hours from here this herb is found easily at the grocery store.

everything4sweet: Thanks dear, wondering how you can eat the picture though hahahha

Retno: kemangi juga bentuknya macem2 disini cuma ya itu non susah dicari di kota gw tinggal.
